Mao, Williams Selected Players of the Week

St. Francis golfer Briana Mao and Laguna Creek running back Keenan Williams have been selected as the girl’s and boy's Players of the Week sponsored by SureWest.
In the Division I North Section playoffs, Mao shot a 3-under 69 at the very difficult Hiddenbrooke Golf Club in Vallejo. Mao’s performance helped lead her St. Francis girl’s golf team to their third straight Division I Section title.
Williams delivered a very reliable 65 yards rushing despite difficult footing on an extremely muddy field last Friday at Elk Grove High School. Williams also caught a five yard screen pass that he turned into a 95 yard touchdown helping to lead Laguna Creek to a 13-7 win over the previously undefeated Nevada Union Miners.
