For the third consecutive year, the ladies from St. Francis captured the girl’s Sac-Joaquin Section Masters Tournament championship. The Troubadours delivered once again shooting an impressive 394 as a team on Tuesday at the Reserve at Spanos Park in Stockton. St. Francis finished six strokes ahead of second place Loretto.

Daniela Okino and Tiffany Dong led the way for St. Francis with each player shooting a 1-over par 73. Briana Mao (76), Jennifer Moore (84), Nichole Cruz (88), and Sadie Strain (100) all contributed to the first place finish for St. Francis.

For seniors Dong and Moore, veterans of Masters Tournaments, it was their fourth straight appearance at the Masters as they now look to guide their team to a NorCal title on Monday when they travel to Salinas to play at Corral de Tierra.

Also advancing to the NorCal tournament will be Loretto and third place East Union (436). Jacqueline Williams had a team best 75 for Loretto, and Krysta Clark of East Union came up big for her team with a 74.

In the individual competition, it was Whitney’s Samantha Stockton who led the field with a round of 74 to advance to Monday's NorCal Championships. Joining Stockton at NorCals will be Christine Uhalde of Johansen (75), Kayla Riede of Dixon (76), and Sagee Palavivatana of Center (77).
